Description:
Autumn is here - it's Harvest Time! Scarlett travels to Africa, South America and other exotic locations to manage five farms and try her hand at penguin breeding and jewelry making. Her goal is to become the president of the farmers union by earning the votes of the people she helps.

There's a series for game consoles called Harvest Moon. For me, it is inexplicably and extremely addictive, and I see shades of it in this game. Well, perhaps more than shades since you end up farming in both games, heh. You start off with a chicken or two and will eventually aim to have a a variety and steady flow of income and life around. There are dangers at hand that'll have you clicking madly on intruders, and numerous objectives to complete. Levels are good in length, variety, and increasing difficulty. Everytime I thought of quitting I ended up thinking "Just one more level..." As for the lower points of the game, it is rather polarizing. I'm sure many will find it just flat-out boring. The Harvest Moon series is the same, either love it or hate it. Farm Frenzy does have some things in common with games like Anno 1404 or Build-A-Lot though in terms of the levels.
