You play in an endless series of battles, one after another, with only a shop inbetween each battle and strategic use of it to keep you alive. There are automatic functions to auto attack and such, which should be used carefully since you're almost always facing an enemy of equal or more power as yourself. The battles are turn-based but so fast and addictive. The online scoreboard at the end of the game helps to reinforce a gamer to go back and play again and try to do very well. There are varying difficulty modes so the gameplay is easily adjusted. If the rather above average difficulty of easy mode is any indication though, this game is meant for more hardcore gamers.
